I am a certified yoga and Energy Medicine Yoga teacher. I love helping people connect with their bodies and learn tools to support and empower them in their own healing. I am also a certified Ayurveda Nutrition Coach and am currently in school to become a transformational and transpersonal coach. You will see me in the kitchen a lot because I love food! Dana and I began our health journey about forty years ago when there was no internet and very little information available to us. We had no idea at the time just how all-encompassing and life-altering that journey would ultimately be. For my part, I waited until I was half-dead before making the changes I needed to make.
That’s why I get so excited when I see people proactively moving toward a healthy lifestyle and making changes in a more intuitive, progressive way. It’s a WHOLE lot easier that way.
But, as most of us find along the way, making needed changes is not as straight-forward and easy as it might seem. And real life-circumstances and personal issues make health sometimes seem unattainable.
That’s why I am a proponent of special occasions, like these retreats, where you can share your personal journey, with all its ups and downs, with others who “get it”. What makes them valuable: encouragement, reminders, helps, strategies, empathy, and maybe even a much-needed personal breakthrough, is priceless.
Time away to regain the sense of why you’re alive, and how you can be even more alive, is worth all the effort it takes to make it happen. This is self-care at its best.

"I am so grateful to have been raised in a household where we understood God has given our bodies wisdom and innate healing power. We were encouraged to care for the body according to God’s design. I followed along with my family’s exploration gaining experiences with a variety of styles of healthy eating, cleansing and other health promoting modalities. It wasn’t till until I was a teenager that my health journey became my own.
I have been through several metamorphic phases on this journey . A big change opened up for me when I realized that physical health was deeply tied to our spiritual, mental and emotional health. This is a subject that fascinates me, and I continue to grow in my own understanding and embodiment of this reality.
Part of this journey led me to become a Emotion Code practitioner in 2015. It has been a beautiful participation with God allowing healing for myself and others .
I’m very honored to get to serve you at this retreat, and am praying for beautiful insights, connection and healing as you take time to listen to what your body is signaling and embrace life and healing on a deep level."
